The Family Friendly Award

This award will be made to a museum or heritage organisation that has a range of ways of making families welcome. Small actions make families welcome; from providing pushchair space, to having a step for little ones to reach taps. We want to know everything you do, from small to large projects and any new family activities. In your application please explain how you tell people about your family offer.

This award is only open to smaller organisations; those that are volunteer run organisation or have less than 2 full-time equivalent members of staff (excluding non-heritage staff such as catering or tourist information team members).

The award will recognise good practice in providing family friendly spaces, activities and services. For ideas please refer to the Kids in Museums Mini Manifesto.

The activity must be a new area of work for your organisation, and have taken place within the last year.
