The Leach Pottery is approaching its centenary and seeks to recognise this occasion by planning and implementing related and cohesive events and activities. ‘Leach 100’ provides a unique opportunity for the Leach Pottery to recognise and celebrate key elements of its histories, stories, people, and contributions to artistic and pottery culture. ‘Leach 100’ also affords the Leach Pottery the chance to confirm its position in its neighbourhood, amongst the national and international community of potters and artists, and among existing and new audiences alike.
We are currently seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to engage people of all ages in developing their creative skills through ceramics and to create links between the Pottery, young people, adult learners, schools, colleges and communities.
