Tate membership is one of the largest visual arts membership schemes with more than 110,000 Members. As well as being frequent visitors of the galleries, Tate Members are invaluable supporters and advocates of Tate.
Based at the newly-extended Tate St Ives and working closely with the London-based Marketing and Communications Manager, your role will focus on implementing Member acquisition and retention communications campaigns and activities, as well as contributing to the development of the membership marketing strategy for Tate St Ives. You will also work with Tate St Ives’ Head of Marketing to ensure that membership fits into the gallery’s wider marketing planning.
In this broad-ranging role, you’ll work on developing copy and content as well as scheduling regular Tate St Ives communications aimed at promoting membership to a non-Member audience and engaging the current Tate St Ives Members base through a range of online and offline channels. You’ll also work on the St Ives events programme for Members, generating new ideas, liaising with stakeholders, promoting the events as well as co-ordinating their implementation.
This is an outstanding opportunity if you have experience in implementing integrated marketing campaigns, and have a creative and entrepreneurial approach to marketing with the ambition to exceed targets. Meticulous, resourceful and highly organised, you’ll be a strong team player with excellent verbal and written (including copywriting) communication skills.
