Studio 106

Cornwall Museums Partnership have an airy and bright room available to hire for meetings and functions.

Every booking made for Studio 106 through Cornwall Museums Partnership (CMP) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions


The following charges will be applied

Tea/coffee £1.00 per person/serving
Buffet Lunch From £15.00 per person minimum of four people


Please note an invoice for 50% of the total fee will be sent upon booking, payment of which must be received at least 1 month before the booking takes place.



We cannot guarantee compatibility of our projector or wireless network with your equipment. If you would like to check the compatibility of your equipment, please contact us to arrange a mutually convenient time.

All electrical equipment brought into Studio 106 by the hirer must have a PAT certificate.

The hirer will be responsible for ensuring all equipment and furniture is handed back in the same condition.

Projectors are subject to availability and must be requested on the booking form. CMP is not licensed for the use of films, therefore this is the responsibility of customer when presenting any of their own material.

It is the responsibility of the presenter to remove all used sheets from the flipchart after the meeting, otherwise they will be destroyed when clearing the studio.


Opening Hours

Normal opening hours are 08.30 to 17.00 hrs, any other times are by special arrangement only.

Studio 106 will only be available for your use during the times agreed. If you arrive early you may not gain access until your arrival time. If your meeting/event runs past your arranged finish time you may be charged extra to cover staffing costs or if there is another booking in Studio 106 following your event you may be asked to leave.

It is the responsibility of the hirer/presenter to answer the door entry system and to allow participants access to the building.


Confirmation of Booking

Once we have received a booking form, we will confirm the arrangements by e-mail. If any of the arrangements are incorrect, it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact us and inform us of any amendments to the booking.

CMP reserves the right to cancel the booking should Studio 106 become unfit for the use intended by the hirer (e.g. fire/flood/etc) a full refund of any monies paid will be made but CMP shall not be liable to the hirer for any resulting direct or indirect loss or damages whatsoever.


Cancellation Charges

The following studio hire, and catering costs will be charged in the event of a cancellation. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing or you may be charged the full cost (email cancellations to

Full payment is due within seven days of invoice (these terms apply unless otherwise agreed).



We cannot guarantee any changes to catering requirements within 48 hours of the booking, although we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Any reductions in delegate numbers must be confirmed two working days prior to your booking or you will be charged as per your original booking.


Health and Safety/Security

All visitors to the CMP/Krowji are expected to conform to the health and safety procedures in place.

Doors to the Percy Williams building and Studio 106 must not be propped open.

The hirer/presenter of your event should report to Studio 101 on arrival to obtain information on fire exits and procedures. It is the responsibility of the hirer/presenter to ensure that all delegates are aware of these matters.

It is the responsibility of the hirer/presenter to ensure that a register of delegates is kept for the duration of the meeting/event. This register is to be kept in the studio with you during your event. If the fire alarm sounds, the register should be taken by the hirer/presenter and they are responsible for checking that all delegates are safe and accounted for. The hirer/presenter must then report to a CMP representative to confirm that all are present or advise them of any issues.

It is the visitor’s responsibility to report any accidents or injuries whilst using Studio 106, an accident form can be obtained from Studio 101.


Damage / Cleaning

The hirer will be liable for any costs incurred due to damage or unnecessary cleaning and clearing expenses caused during the hire of the facilities.
