The Big Gig Project
The Big Cornish Gig Project brought together wounded, injured and sick veteran forces personnel to work with the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
The group were given special training in boat building skills. Working together, the group built a gig boat, which they then rowed to the Scillies for the 2016 World Pilot Gig Championships.
