25th of May 2017, 10am – 3.45pm
This is the second Sharing and Learning Day organised by Cornwall Museums Partnership, and it is an opportunity to share, learn from and reflect on just some of the work that has been taking place across museums in Cornwall over the past year as well as look ahead to the future.
The Learning Group will be sharing a wide range of projects: creative writing, working with artists, migrant families, and more. There will be talks on building new audiences; Circuit and the Tate Collective; the Citizen Curators Pilot Programme; and audience engagement through social media. You will learn about the opportunities of Fun Palaces and Bright Sparks. Also included in the programme are tours of both CAST and Helston Museum.
Throughout the day reference will be made to the three key priorities of Cornwall Museums Partnership’s Children and Young People Strategy: engaging more people; bringing new voices; broadening activities.
This event is free to attend. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, but please let us know if you have dietary requirements.
