Support Museums in Cornwall

With our museums facing challenging times, we need your help to support them and let the key decision-makers know just how important our cultural institutions are to Cornwall.

Please stand up and say ‘I Love Museums’ in the following ways:

Quickly sign up to our campaign

We’ll use your name to show our politicians that the Cornish public believes museums should be supported and funded by local and national government.

(We will store your details securely and will not share them with any other parties, except for the purposes of this campaign)

Share your support!

Show your support by snapping and sharing on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag #ILoveMuseums.

Download the ‘ilovemuseums’ heart speech bubble, write on it, photograph yourself with it and share it!

Share snaps of your all-time favourite museum, take a selfie with your favourite statue, post a pic of the front-runner on your top ten best objects list, gather a group of friends and re-enact your favourite painting, share your best experiences of museums at night… be as creative as you want, really put your heart into it and snap and share pics to inspire people to love museums. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so use your camera to visualise your love for museums, and share it far and wide with the world!

Write to your MP or local council to rally support

A personal letter sent to a Member of Parliament or your local council can be an effective tool for change. The more letters of support the campaign gets, the more weight we will have behind us to really make this campaign count.

We want to create a large network of active supporters, so go on, make your stand for museums and be a part of the collective voice that says ‘I Love Museums’.
