Cornwall Museums Group meeting

The next Cornwall Museums Group (CMG) meeting will take place on Wednesday 13 December at Truro Community Library. The agenda will include a presentation from Liz Shepherd at Royal Cornwall Museum about their work on the Memory Bites project and a short workshop with Helena Jaeschke, South West Museum Development, Conservation Development Officer on Putting your museum to bed for the winter.

Join us for a festive, fun-packed meeting. It is free to attend, but as places are limited, booking is required.

Truro Cathedral have kindly invited the group to join them after the meeting for a guided tour.

Cornwall Museums Group meeting

You are invited to join the next Cornwall Museums Group meeting on Tuesday 10 October at the Tolmen Centre, next to Constantine Museum. Please click here to let us know you are coming so we can arrange refreshments.

This meeting will see the launch of the Heritage Awards by Cornwall Museums Partnership – designed to raise the profile of museums in Cornwall and celebrate the excellent work that goes on in them.

As well as the AGM and election of officers, this event will provide a forum for discussing the content and operation of CMG meetings – so please come along to have your say and help shape the future of the group.

Following the meeting you are invited to join Constantine Museum for a heritage walk to Port Navas – a late Georgian harbour development, with Don Garman from Constantine Museum. And, if you would like to stay for a pasty lunch, please pre-order your pasty when booking your place for the meeting.
Prices are: Medium steak £3.20, wholemeal vegetable £2.50

Parking

Disabled parking spaces are available forecourt of Tolmen Centre but need to be pre-booked, otherwise parking is available in Fore Street, opposite Spar Shop or in Car parks by Church – to SPAR and then left – car parks before lane turns sharp right.
