Fundraising Training

Thanks to support from a Heritage Lottery Fund Catalyst grant, CMP has been able to develop a programme of high quality fundraising training for museums across Cornwall and the south west.

There are regular sessions focusing on different aspects of fundraising and your organisation’s capacity to fundraise and all for a heavily subsidised cost of £15 per person for heritage organisations in Cornwall.

Museum Skills Programme

Further training in a broad range of subjects is available from the SW Federation of Museums and Art Galleries – Museum Skills Programme.

This programme provides wide ranging, high quality training and professional development opportunities for museum staff and volunteers.

The Museum Skills programme is FREE to everyone (paid staff, volunteer, trustee) who meets the following criteria:

1. works within a south west Accredited museum or National Trust property, or
2. works within a south west provisionally Accredited or formally working towards Accreditation organisation, or
3. is an individual or institutional member of the SW Federation of Museums and Art Galleries

The South West Museum Skills programme is made possible through funding from Arts Council England distributed by the South West Museum Development Partnership (SWMDP).
