Who is CMP?

CMP is a Cornwall-based team of museum and heritage sector experts who are passionate about the role and importance of collections, heritage, and museums. We operate both technically and strategically to support museums day-to-day, while looking at current and future needs and global trends to help inform and invigorate practice.

Our commitment to equity

Our work supports museums to make a positive difference to peoples’ lives. CMP exists to invigorate museums and help them to address the structures and practices which have excluded people for too long. By working in partnership with museums to help them become more open and connected to the people they serve, we aim to inspire the wider heritage and cultural sectors.

Meet the team

The CMP team is made up of 10.2 FTEs. We support museums to do the things that they might find difficult to do on their own. This includes advocacy, audience development, fundraising, and workforce development.
