Equity and Inclusion

What can we offer?

Our team can work alongside your board, senior management team, or the whole organisation, to support inclusive and equitable development for your organisation.

Our Equity and Inclusion Programme is a holistic, intersectional approach to organisational inclusivity, based on extensive experience of working with marginalised and disadvantaged groups in the cultural sector.

Inclusivity work can feel intimidating. We can help you understand the challenges in a more manageable way, and build an action plan to start or level up your equity work.

Challenges we can support you with include:

• Embedding inclusion and equity across the breadth of your activity
• Engaging your board with inclusion and equity
• Understanding the challenges and opportunities for inclusion and equity
• Building confidence in your team(s)

The process

Initiation You’ll share your situation and ambitions for the organisation in a short initiation meeting, we’ll discuss key personnel to be involved and the outcomes of our work together. We’ll also review any relevant policies or documentation you have.

Listen and collect We’ll hold informal discussions with key identified personnel to understand the equity and inclusion landscape at your organisation.

Review and research Information from the document review and discussions will be collated and we’ll conduct additional specific research.

Reflect and recommend In collaboration with you, we’ll produce outcomes as agreed with you, which will be relevant, impactful, and considered, to support your journey.

We offer a flexible support programme and deliver our work with you collaboratively.
