Essentials in Application Writing

This one-day course will provide helpful information and tips to build skills in writing strong applications for funding – whether grants from trusts/foundations or statutory bids. With practical exercises to improve writing, budgeting, and evaluation skills, anyone can produce a strong application provided they understand what is required, undertake thorough research and are tenacious.
This training session is free to attend for staff and volunteers working in museums/heritage organisations in Cornwall. It is funded by SW Museum Development and Cornwall Museums Partnership.
Who is it for?
- Fundraising and development staff and volunteers working in museums who wish to gain helpful tips and are looking to refresh their knowledge in this area.
- Those new to writing fundraising proposals.
